I studied furniture making with James Krenov at The College of the Redwoods Fine Woodworking Program in the early 80’s. I made furniture for almost 25 years before turning to a more specialized focus on carving. While I am no longer making furniture “for my own pleasure” as the English stone carver Eric Gill referred to his speculative work, I do accept commissions for interesting projects.

Furniture: Love Seat, Cherry Headboard with Iris, Small Iris Chair, Loon Bench, Crest for Music Stand, Sun’s Hands, White Goddess. California walnut, cherry, gold leaf, black lacquer, leather upholstery.
